Berlin-based fintech collaborates with Bolt for vehicle financing.

Finmid, a Berlin-based fintech supported by an N26 co-founder, has successfully raised €17 million in a Series A extension. The funding, led by Big Pi Ventures and Mainset, adds to a total of €52 million raised to date. This extension will allow Finmid to broaden its embedded lending services in mobility and e-commerce sectors.

In addition to the capital raise, Finmid secured a multi-year vehicle financing collaboration with Estonian ride-hailing company Bolt, providing fleet operators access to substantial vehicle financing. The firm's co-founder, Alex Talkanista, highlighted the shift in the embedded lending model, stating that business platforms can now become their customers' financing partners without acting as banks. This development showcases Finmid's goal of enhancing financial services accessibility across varied business sectors.
